Solstice Reflections: How can simplicity serve us? At dawn, still lingering in bed, I breathe in each breath deeply. Each breath is a gift. Then Ahhhhhhhh! I let it go; send it outdoors, out through an open door. Let it serve the orange tree in the garden that breathes in life through every leaf. As I breathe out, the tree inhales.There is an uncommon harmony in living one’s life close to Nature. Tomorrow when the sun has warmed the garden, I shall relax with a cup of tea beside a rose bush, or perhaps the lavender or rosemary hedge while my body – free of stress – does home repair. The deeper insight: LIFE heals from the inside out. Leadership also arises from the inside out.
