ENERGY SMART by 2030: Changing The Way We Live
This photo, taken at a small group meeting at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (*NCAR) in Boulder, yesterday offers a preview of the dire state of the world by 2030. The original interactive image that was show to us was of 2090 and shows, basically, that Earth has become hot… a RED planet, like MARS. I asked the presenter to pull back the images to 2030. This is the result. For those who understand its importance, it carries an ethical responsibility to understand the implications it represents. Over the years, I’ve trained my mind to respond this way: “Here is the way it is, and here is what I’m going to do about it.” Working with a small team of energy smart professionals, I created a “take home” environmental leadership program called Sustainability 2020 for our 10 TRAITS leadership development that starts at home with individuals networked through organizations, schools, and government.
