On A Scale of 1-10, Hillary Clinton Is A 20

Men have 10 great traits and so do women. At the first presidential debate of Election2016, Hillary Clinton used them all. More Women In Business Leadership Means More $$$ Money

More Women In Business Leadership Means More $$$ Money

As we settle into Autumn, with colorful Fall leaves vying for “BEST of show,” I made a short list of upcoming changes facing us humans, as we begin to make room on Planet Earth for more women on top, robots in the boardroom, and greener leaner communities. One could say, this is a trend watch with a focus sex, money, and what happens when we unleash the untapped power of women. In my talks on 10 traits transforming society and the workplace, I remind audiences that women now represent the largest untapped resource in the world. This represents a talent pool 2X the population of India and China combined! By 2018: Major medical screenings including several types of cancers, by computers, may overtake human analysis in the lab. By 2018: Seeing a 6% gain in NET profit based on 30% women in leadership, 30% women in leadership and management will become the standard. Fast-growth companies seeking higher NET profit will boost that figure to 40-50%. By 2019: The Fossil Fuel Industry will diversify after admitting that their assets in the ground (coal)(oil) will soon = ZERO By 2019: The dematerialization of the modern world will shift to small scale, local and sustainable. By 2020: The corporate world is dematerializing. Your office may be at home or a seat in a collaborative, co-working space. By 2020: The driverless car – in its own designated lane, will share the public streets with bikes and pedestrians. By 2020: Pedestrians and bicyclists clothing or smartphone will include a device to alert driverless cars to their presence. By 2020: Robots will guide humans to their seats at the Tokyo Olympics By 2025: 25% of men will...
FAT, Fiber, and Protein: The Food of SuperFit Leaders

FAT, Fiber, and Protein: The Food of SuperFit Leaders

FATS, fiber, and protein. Does 25-50% of your diet include fiber? I hope so. If it’s soft, soluble fiber – then it is the BEST food to feed the probiotics in your colon to retune the risk of colon cancer. Insoluble fiber serves as a “broom” for internal housecleaning. Today, Dr Joel and I had conversations about the aging process and also talked about the importance of getting plenty of OIL and FATS (called lipids) in our daily diet. These include: OMEGA 3 (EPA & DHA) 2 grams a day (which has Vitamin A in it), and the other good oils including OLIVE, avocado, butter, and coconut oil. One final reminder: It’s ALSO important to make sure you have a minimal 2-EGGS per day because the egg white called albumin has the BEST spectrum of amino acids for collegen production. MAKE SURE that you don’t overcook the egg whites – either soft boiled or poached (not more than 3-4 min maximum). # Alexia Parks is Founder and CEO of  Alexia Parks 10 TRAITS Leadership Institute. 10TRAITS Leadership offers the ONLY leadership training program in the world based on 10 traits found in the female brain. Thank You President Barack Obama, Now Let’s Celebrate Women’s Equality Everyday.

Thank You President Barack Obama, Now Let’s Celebrate Women’s Equality Everyday.

Presidential Proclamation — Women’s Equality Day, 2016 WOMEN’S EQUALITY DAY, 2016  – Thanks to the National Women’s History Project and Zonta International for reporting on this new recognition of the importance of reestablishing gender balance at home, at work, in the the workplace, — and the world. “All we are saying is….” restore the balance and dynamic synergy of the male and female, the masculine and feminine in everything we think, say and do. – – – – – – ————————————————————————————————————————– BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA A PROCLAMATION Nearly one century ago, with boundless courage and relentless commitment, dedicated women who had marched, advocated, and organized for the right to cast a vote finally saw their efforts rewarded on August 26, 1920, when the 19th Amendment was certified and the right to vote was secured. In the decades that followed, that precious right has bolstered generations of women and empowered them to stand up, speak out, and steer the country they love in a more equal direction. Today, as we celebrate the anniversary of this hard-won achievement and pay tribute to the trailblazers and suffragists who moved us closer to a more just and prosperous future, we resolve to protect this constitutional right and pledge to continue fighting for equality for women and girls. At every level of society, women are leaders at the forefront of progress. Serving as judges and Members of Congress, setting world records in sports, founding groundbreaking companies, and fighting on the front lines of combat, women continue to tear down barriers and shatter glass ceilings — just as they have done...
A Quick Release Method for Daily TRAUMA

A Quick Release Method for Daily TRAUMA

Here is a simple, powerful TWO STEP method – that can be used anytime and anywhere and is FREE – to reduce stress in the body. First, we know that everyone in the world has had some time of trauma, we’re not alone. For example, think of the trauma experienced by the Syrian refugees and other refugees around the world. So consider these two powerful methods that are free of charge, easy to do anytime, any place, anywhere. Remember: the more you do these two steps – by turning them into a daily habit – the better it is. At 10TRAITS Leadership we use Ellen Langer’s Mindfulness techniques. A Harvard professor, Ellen Langer is the “Mother” of Mindfulness. TO START: Focus like a LASER on your body. Become aware, mindful in the deepest sense, of the signals, feedback, and messages your body is sending you. Why? Because Mother Nature is constantly talking to you through your body. – JUST BEING AWARE of it is the real power of mindfulness. Just becoming aware or mindful of it will undercut and lessen a lot of the trauma. The very AWARENESS of it is a powerful tool.   Since the BODY is the repository of the trauma, then you should choose some type of “body work” – in the broad sense – for release of the trauma. Massage, rolfing, yoga, aerobic exercise, bicycling, jogging, and walking at aerobic levels will all release this energy through the blood vessels. Traumas may be big or small. Either way, and they impact the body on a daily basis. So mindfulness and daily “body work” to release trauma...
How Mindfulness and Meditation Influence Your Microbiome

How Mindfulness and Meditation Influence Your Microbiome

Someone asked the question: “Does meditation have an influence on my microbiome? Yes. Your brain is connected to your GUT via the Vegas Nerve. When you take a moment to put all tasks aside, turn your attention inward, and focus on slow, rhythmic, deep breathing, your Vegas Nerve will carry this positive benefit to your heart and lungs. However, it doesn’t stop there. The Vegas Nerve will connect your UPSTAIRS brain to your DOWNSTAIRS brain: your GUT. With mindfulness and meditation comes a benefit digestion and stimulate digestive juices in your stomach (hydrochloric acid), liver (bile), and pancreas (pancreatic acid).  This, in turn, provides a major benefit to the GOOD bacteria – those billions of “employees” who live and work inside your microbiome. They multiply and expand the benefits they bring to your whole body health. The opposite, of course, is that STRESS, in all its forms and varieties, can shut down your GUT and limit the amount of digestive juices needed for healthy digestion of food. Meditation and mindfulness are practices we teach in our 10TRAITS Leadership* training programs. Taken together, they are one of 10 natural leadership traits that we teach – based on the Female brain – to help you learn how to lead your BEST life yet! *An inspirational speaker, and Virtual Mentor with the United Nations, Alexia Parks is also Founder and CEO of  Alexia Parks 10TRAITS Leadership Institute.
